alexha1
Hi , I got and old Boyer A Class and am getting back in condition to sail. Basically going over Rigging; redoing where things will go bang and doing same for hulls and foils Cant see what is on the internal labels inside the back hatches they are pretty worn out - i thought these hulls were vinylester and a few decades old so i was going to use epoxy for things like repairing at and reseating beams , few impact delaminations etc I've done the mast and boom up to doing the platform . Hopefully the photos a clear enough for someone to recognise it thanks Alex
alexha1
AusCat Mk3 .. "This would be an AusCat Mk3. They were all Vinylester hulls. Epoxy would be fine for the repairs, but just remember, gelcoat does not stick well to epoxy, so you have to be careful. cheers Brett"
