Rudder blade weights?

Have recently bought what I believe is a mk2 4.3 (sail number 2900) and am in the process of making it sailable again. 
 

Have the rudder blades off as they are needing a lot of love, does anyone know what they would normally weigh? These seem to be overly heavy, weights I have are 2.4 and 2.3kg. I’m believing they may be waterlogged. 
only identifying mark is the Hydrafoil sticker .

Some are solid GRP (strong and heavy) and some are foam sandwich (Lighter and easier to damage). Unless you are racing, repair and use what you have. Where are you located ? Is there a club nearby ?

Thanks Darcy, no plan to race though may attend the occasional club race up here in Mackay. 
Shall assume these are solid grp (at least the top 600mm). Have a void of around 120mm in the bottom end of the one I have started removing dodgy bog used previously as a repair.

That's ugly, but repairable. New blades are around $300, not an option for most of us.

If anyone has a dry weight for a grp blade it would be helpful to measure how much effort to put in, have done a core sample and it’s Q cell or talc bog used as a core material. Explains the swelling and seemingly excessive weight, but having only played with carbon foils for the last 25 years am checking to see if it actually may be what’s to be expected.

Weighed 8 blades, 3.5 lbs to 5.25 lbs, average about 4.5 lbs. 3.5 was a hollow blade.

Thank you for that information Darcy. Seems I have some heavy blades as the lighter of the 2 is 2.3kg (5.25 lbs) (has a large void at the bottom) and the heavier being 2.45kg.
