I sail a 5.8 and on the jib sheet (both sides) there is a plastic ring attached to the rope with a chord then running off into the front beam. The chord runs through to the other side and the other end of the chord is attached to the ring on the other jib sheet. What is the exact purpose of these rings?? It obviously must be to help the jib sheet settings, as the chord runs through cleats. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
