micky
WELL THE NATIONALS ARE FAST APPROACHING. NOW IS THE TIME TO ENSURE ACCOMODATION IS BOOKED, ENTRY HAS BEEN PAID AND WIFE IS HAPPY. THE SAILING AREA IS ONE OF THE BEST AROUND AND I AM SURE THAT THE WEEK WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST YET. BIG FLEETS ARE EXPECTED IN MANY CLASSES, SO GREAT RACING WILL BE HAD. AN EXCELLENT SOCIAL CALENDER IS PLANNED ALONG WITH TRAINING SESSIONS DURING THE WEEK. SO EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT THE MOST KEEN RACER THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE WEEKS OF SAILING / HOLIDAYS YOU WILL HAVE. 10 RACES IN ONE WEEK, THIS EQUALS NEARLY A SEASON OF SAILING FOR SOME!! FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILBALE AT: http://www.nacrasuperseries.com/News.html MAKE SURE YOU ARE THERE!!! DONT MISS THIS GREAT WEEK OF NACRA SAILING AND SOCIALISING. REV YUKKA II
we sailed there on the weekend at a local regatta, we had a good fleet of 5.8's out. nine in total, the wind was fantastic very even, hardly any change in strenght or direction in any of the races acept it just slowly built as the races went on. water was clean with no weed, jelly fishes etc. we raced two afternoon races then two morning races. if we get conditions like that for the nationals it will be a blast. REV YUKKA II
Should have a good 5.8 fleet 15-25 boats. also note that there will be a trophy for best boat under 1200 sail number and also one for best boat 1200-1500 sail number in the 5.8 fleet. so even if you have an older boat it is worth while getting it out on the water.
