nacra-maricat australia Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 THe Mission beach regatta and Dunk island marathon were held last weekend. This was a great event for Nacra,s Nacra managed to fill all the top places in the Catamaran division and F-18 class. A total of 9 F-18s contested the Qld state F-18 title,with all 9 boats being NACRA Infusions. Adam Beatie was first on 6points Mal Richardson 2nd on 8 points Warren Guinea 3rd on 9points Michael Guinea 4th on 11 points. James Ogilvie made the trip from Sydney travelling 5400kms in total,well done. In the catamaran division Steve Martland 1st-Nacra 16sq Devon Wilkinson 2nd -Nacra 17 Craig Milton 3rd-Nacra 16sq Karl Brazier 4th -Nacra 4.5. Mal Richardson on his Nacra Infusion won the round Dunk island marathon, followed by Adam Beattie. A total of 76 boats attended the regatta. Winds this year were light to very light. We managed to sail to Dunk island on Friday to make sure the bar was still up and running. Thanks to all who attended and see you next year.
