Weber1982
hi guys. I bought my nacra 5.8 in mid november last year off james oglevie our n.s.w dealer. it came with a set of 3 week old rollers whick were $500 and one side after not using much at all has become unbelievebly bent. has anyone made there own rollers out of the parts using something stronger? NixonJr
The Cobras use stainless steal tube instead of the aluminum that most people use, we haven't seen any of these bend at all so far
REV YUKKA II
don't here of them bending very often. what where you doing when they bent? they are only dezined to move the boat around and i doubt you would have bent them doing that. i never stand my mast with boat on rollers, you must remember that the boat is 165kg so if you are standing on the boat when standing the rig you are adding over 50% of weight. cheers rev
Weber1982
Cheers rev, Yer thats all i have used them for, i have not once put the mast up with rollers under. i only use them to move the boat around and to launch it and bring it in, dont know what the cause is but they have gradually gotten worse to the point where one wheel is also on an angle. its pretty rediculous.
