ALL F18 SAILORS - READ THIS - NATIONALS INFO

Recommended Posts

Hello All Sailors,

Nationals are now just one month away – Its time to start planning on getting the boat out from under the hedge and make your way to Melbourne for the best nationals we have had so far. 4th – 7th November

The organizing committee in Melbourne have put together a great program and have guaranteed great weather and close sailing. This is your final chance to test your skills against all your possible competition before the worlds in 2007. Even if you are at the tail of the fleet (like me) you can always guarantee great close competition.

Looks like we will have Bundock/Ashby attend their first Aussie Nats and with Steve Brewin/Andrew Williams only missing out beating his long time A Class rival by one point on the weekend it promises to be a great series. Other potential champs are also looking good to make this the closest series ever.

4 NEW NACRA INFUSIONS will be attending and I hear from sources that we may see another NEW LARUFFA design from Australia hit the waters for this event. Its going to be a great event and for all the sailors out there who have been standing on the sidelines – this is your chance to make a difference.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE ALL YOUR MEASUREMENT CERTS UP TO DATE – NO MEASURING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE EVENT – DON’T FORGET A REAL PADDLE – No more icepole sticks are allowed – READ THE CLASS RULES ATTACHED
