HooD Posted May 14, 2002 Report Share Posted May 14, 2002 Michael Worrell announced the F18HT as the next boat for the Worrell 1000, interestingly they are supplying boats for the race and accomodation for $5000usd but if you want to practice with one now, then it $11500. other point of interest is that they have to change the rudder arangement so that they can run them up onto the beach without breakage. One of the main reasons for the boats selection was its weight, as the Worrell Bros wanted to encourage female sailors as there were none this year, as the Inter 20 is suposedly too big and heavy for girls ( I know some girls that would have something to say about that ) looks like no Hobie tiger then.. must have just been a rumour then.
