sailoread1
I've got a Red Baron, GRP,6 metres, about 450 kilograms. I keep it in the water here in Port Douglas. The wooden rudders are rotting. Does anyone know what rudders would be suitable for replacing these? I've wondered about a set off a 18 ft Hobie. Would appreciate any advice.\\ sailoread1
darcy1945
Hobie 14, 16, 18 rudders are the same, the Epo rudders are the strongest but are subject to sun damage. (a coat of paint would fix that problem). You would have to fill and drill to suit your rudder stocks. I have stock hobie rudders from $50 pr plus post ($20)?, Epo $100 pr. 02 43591729
