Jk
Just wondering if there were a few tips or tricks to improving our up wind sailing. We race a hobie 18, we are equal in most parts of racing but up wind every one seems to be able to point 10 degrees higher. Any suggestions would be welcomed THX JK
CleverNickname
I think it depends a lot on the way the boat is rigged, i.e. shape of the main sail, position of jib blocks, etc. And this in turn depends on the windspeed. The one tip I can pass on is that you need to have some boat speed before trying to beat up wind. I suggest you talk to the people that you are racing with and learn from their experience.
