The Mari 4.0 that I've written about isn't mine but belongs to one of the guys that crews with me. As I've written in the past, his is sloop rigged and sailed supersloop. It goes as well as any 4.3 and has the added advantage of a handicap of 100 or cat rigged 110. Mind you, I'm taking lake sailing here and probably in open waters the 4.0 needs to be sailed from the back beam to guard against nose diving when the wind gets up. pedro Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Rodney, just my thought on a 4.0, don't buy one. Just a waste of money. A 4.3 is no harder to tow and no harder to sail for Zac.
