Guest Bruce
It was a mild 38 degrees this morning in Hobart...it's true, fahreheit that is. Got your email this morning Dave thankyou, had a chat to Rob St. and thought it would be of interest to PT skippers coming down to have this link for weather/winds etc in Hobart, especially as we get closer to the Nats. http://www.ryct.org.au/weather.php It is updated regularly. It is currently 6 knots in the city and would be that on the racing area with absolutely flat water and 12.1 degrees, but nice and sunny. Should be a little warmer come January. Can't wait!! HooD
Hey Bruce A really excellent peice of freeware is Australian Weather stats software. It gives you all the details you want on your desktop as a band or in your system tray. updates about every 10 mins so you can keep an eye on whats going on. http://www.birdcagesoft.com.au/util_software.html Now I sailed the last 3 weekends in Hobart, twice on frederick henery bay and once in the derwent river (royal yacht club winter series) and I havnt seen any PT's on the water, are you guys not training for the nationals? Cheers Darren.
