tonyquoll
Some locals turned up to Try Sailing Day, talking about an old cat they have. It some notes refer to it as an "Escape Cat", and 4.5m long. It may be donated to the club. Anyone heard of these before? Any idea of it's yardstick? Worth restoring? Loose Change
Commercially I would think it is not worth restoring but as a doantion for use as a club boat then it is definately worth restoring, especially if it doen't require a bucket of money to be thrown at it. Given that these are hard times to get people involved with sailing. Remember the old saying, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth". Yardstick? Who cares? The handycap will be its yardstick but realistically somewhere in Surfcat 12 or caper cat territory should see you somewhere in the ballpark.
