BVSC Admin
Enquiries are still coming in thick and fast for what is undoubtedly going to really be a WINTER marathon based on the last few days of weather. Its still not too late to tweak the rigging, pack the winter woolies and head on out to Wivenhoe Dam for what is planned to be a great weekend of sailing. Scouts will be cooking breakfast on Sunday morning, and lunch both days. A pizza night is planned for Saturday night, so there is nothing more you need to plan. Look forward to seeing you all there! BVSC Admin
We had club racing there yesterday and with a good solid 12-14knt breeze it really let you know that winter was just around the corner and racing will be on in earnest! There is plenty of firewood around this year courtesy of it floating down in the floods, so a few fires around the place should warm things up a bit. Slowpoke
Another Paper Tiger from LSWSA is on the way and also one more from Bundaberg (this will make 3). The weather looks like it is getting better day by day. Hopefully if it rains for the marathon it might be a bit warmer. Looking forward it the challange.
