but you didn't mention the standard disclaimer about Lake Bloody Gusty and the "gusts can be 40knots greater than indicated".

At a Careel 22 Nationals held there I saw two boats with spinnakers up and pulling, driving straight towards each other and within a few boatlengths - neither correctly identified the point at which the wind backed for both of them!
