jamesw
Can anyone on this list point in the direction of tips for tuning a calypso 16? I just bought one today. Looking forward to hitting Moreton Bay. In particular, I'm keen to know about how best to flatten the main (or whatever else is required) to power up/down as the wind stengthens. Leon
You might want to consider doing a learn to sail course. And join a local club. This way the members can actually show you what you need to know. And guide you in the right direction.
just-me
I agree with you Leon - there are a lot of benifits from joining a club, and boat knowelledge is just one of them. What part of Moreton Bay do you plan on sailing from?
jamesw
Thanks for the suggestion. I live in Brisbane's inner east and plan to sail between victoria point and stradbroke I guess. Any thoughts which club's would be good to join for some calypso company?
