Weather forecast is for sunny days, 10-15 knot North-east winds; perfection.

The recent rains and floods have caused havoc though. The highway between Cooma and Bega is closed at Brown Mountain, due to a mudslide. RTA says closed "until further notice".

- if coming from the north, please go via Batemans Bay and the coast road.

- if coming from Canberra, either go via Batemans Bay, or take Mt Darragh Rd near Bombala towards Pambula. Either way will take about 4 hours, but Mt Darragh is narrow and windy.

- if coming from Tumut, Mt Darragh Rd to Pambula.

The lake filled right up, almost flooded the clubhouse, then a channel was dug open to the sea. It has now dropped to almost sea-level, which is perfect. The boat ramp is all good, and there is a lovely sandy beach in front of the grass for rigging and off-the-beach launching.

Yes, all good:

- lake is now open to the sea and holding at a steady, full level

- Wallagoot Lake Rd has a couple of potholes, but easily driven

- weather forecast is mostly sunny, 22 degrees, 10knot southerly

- working bees have the clubhouse and rigging area all cleaned up; ready to go!

- we even have had our art group install an exhibition in the clubhouse.

Registration 8:30 - 10am. (or at kitchen if you get here later)

Briefing 10am

1st race 11am

2nd race 2pm, then 3rd race back-to-back.

Looking forward to some great racing!
