Pretty sure it's not your place to say what a person ask's for a boat, everyone has a right to make a few $$ regardless of what he has spent on a boat to get it up to scratch if the market reflect's that. I visited that club and sailed against that boat today, talked about this thread and the boat is a lot better than when he bought it. He's put two brand new rudders on it for a start for just under $700 plus a lot of other bits and pieces so you shouldn't hammer someone for selling a boat at fair value.
