PeterM
Shane, the Hobie 14 jib luff wire is fine as long as the wire has no broken strands with rust around them. You can get a new Hobie 14 tramp from Mal Grey at Sun State Hobie: http://www.sunstatehobie.com.au/?page_id=35 his site has tips for the Hobie 16 which you can apply to sailing hte Hobie 14 too. Shane
thanks peter that was very helpful ... took it out sailing today and it was great ... just need a new tramp ... this vinyl tramp with no straps is a bit like a slippery slide when it goes up on one hull ... managed to let the main sheet out as i was passing by :-)
