Advice from the experts on BOAT CHOICE

Nacra 5.8 a big powerful and quick boat. Give consideration to a Hobie 18 as well. Both boats perform well with 150 to 200kg crew weight.

Look for what is sailed locally. It is always more fun to sail against like boats. Happy shopping!

Ziggy, don't jump into a choice, try before you buy and not just in 5kts of breeze. There are clubs around with mixed fleets of big cats who would be only to pleased to take you for a spin, also worth looking at 4.9 Taipan and 16 sq Nacra, your combined weight, experience, fitness and agility should determine your choice, but it should be something that has a fleet locally.

F16. Light and easy to handle. Modern rigging. Can be sailed one up, two up with main only, main and spinnaker, or main jib and spinnaker... They cover off all cat options.

Growing breed. And also i have one for sale in your price range!!
