richard campbell Posted May 9, 2012 Report Share Posted May 9, 2012 The hobie 14 pre 1988 had the serial numbers stamped in the rear starboard vertical post, After that they went to a number in the rear of the starboard hull (a dyna-mo label size, they used to stick it to the mold) and i think the sail number was from 50,000 on wards but don't quote me.
