fishman
Hi guys. Maricat 4.3 for sale!! Is currently with Water Police Nelson Bay which was found floating around a couple of years ago after a storm and they have asked me if I can find it a new owner. Topsides are in great condition. No nasty scratches or holes. Boat has been in the water for a number of years and has a fair amount of marine growth which i will get rid of. Boat has NO fittings i.e no tramp, dolphin striker, mast step, stays, mast or rudders. Boat does not come with trailer. I am happy to deliver to Central coast thru to Mid North coast up to Port Macquarie or inland to as far as Singleton for a fee. $$ Make an offer $$ Simon
darcy1945
Check the length, I can't see a traveller, which would make it an early mk1 4m (13') most were hire boats built in survey.

fishman
Hi guys. Maricat 4.3 for sale!! Hi guys, I have measured the length and as Darcy thought, it is a 4m 13fter. It used to have a 1m traveller on the aft beam. I have also discovered a crack on the inside of the port (left) hull in front of the front beam. I have attached a photo of it. Being in the boating industry i will make sure it has a proper repair done before i hand it to anyone. Simon
darcy1945
Fishman, do you want those travellers? The crack on the inside of the deck in front of the beam is fairly common on sloop rigged boats, the jib bridle pulling up and in is the suspected culprit, I have never seen the problem on cat rigs with separate twin forestays.
