QB2 Posted November 19, 2008 Report Share Posted November 19, 2008 Did anyone get caught out in Sundays storm or have any cat/car/property damages? My cat and trailer slid sideways until they hit the carport uprights. I retightened the tiedowns and moved outdoor furniture moments before the storm hit. No gradually increasing wind, just whammo!full bore with trees snapping halfway up the trunk. Had no damage from the 5 cent to golf ball sized hail even though it came in at cat and house windows horizontally. We were very lucky as only a couple of bucket loads of water (I think) got into the house through downlights and fans in bedrooms and bathrooms on the weather side. I dragged some wet insulation out yesterday but couldn't get them all and now have some discoloured ceiling panels. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
