korwich
Me and the fam will be there, kids keen to try their new (for them) boat (butterball), can't wait, seeing as the last 3 (I think) fathers days have been a no go for sailing. korwich
Have you thought of an Ice boat Rodney, you could use all the mari rig etc, just need to fabricate the bottom bits. Phil
korwich
All I can say is it was great to get back on the water, we had 3 mari's and about 5 bigger boats.(A's tiapans etc). Phil claimed line honours for the first race of the season. As Mick says a win is a win is a win. And I believe that we dont worry about yardsticks at tanilba for club racing anyway. humungus2
If you want to take a win away from your daughter, then so be it. What sought of dad are you. She sailed with the right attitude. (BEAT DAD). flogged you on yard stick. The least you could do is give her a wrap on the net DAD.
darcy1945
What sort of daughter gives her poor old dad a flogging on fathers day?
korwich
I have to say that Sam sailed brilliantly, it was the fat old ballast tanker sitting on the back of the boat that caused Team Mick and Sam to be the losers.
humungus2
There, that wsn't so hard was it. Giveing your daughter a bit of incouragement. Thats enough of the "fat" thanks.
humungus2
So. what is your excuse today. My crew 50kg. your crew 30kg. You got second. I have to say that swaping the lead a few time was noval. Had another ball sailing at tanilba. Scotty sailed well with the 50kg crew. A new experiance for all. korwich
Your best bet is to contact Mick CoalKliffe at the Lemon tree passage marina, if you look in the yellow pages his number will be there. I'm not sure what their sailing schedule is right now. Phil

korwich
Great day of sailing yesterday, borrowed Micks boat, it has to be embarassing when your own maricat is able to keep up with you downwind while you are on a 16sqr, and I got to stack micks Maricat by doing a nosedown in the last race. Now i've just gotta get his sail fixed for him. All good had a ball. Phil
