Steelnerve
Rivoli Bay WRRegatta is looking great for numbers so far, and the long weather forcast is looking very sailable also. It looks like a good mixed fleet with 4.9 and 5.7 Taipan's, A-Class, mozzies, cobra's and nacra's. With a small fleet of mono's to compliment the mix. I am envisaging 20+ cats, plus 4-5 mono's. (That's not counting Vic WWR clubs, as I haven't heard numbers from there yet.) Harken have come on board with a box of goodies for prizes, and the club will be roasting up lamb and chickens for a feast on Saturday night, and lunches Saturday and Sunday. So if you are planning to come over to one of the best ocean sailing locations, Rivoli Bay SC would love to hear from you so we can get the catering numbers right. And remember the SA vs Vic Cat Challenge Trophy was won by Victoria last year, but there is a strong fleet from SA wanting to put their name on it this year. The challenge is there, who will win it this year?? Drop me an email or phone for attendence numbers. evan.marga@internode.on.net 0428712721 Cheers Evan
madboutcats
At Meningie last Saturday there was talk that all of the South Aus Taipan 5.7's were aiming to be there and about nine Taipan 4.9's, I had already heard that a pile of Mozzys & Cobra's, 3 x A Class are coming so looks like you will have to work out some seperate starts Evan. So far Willy weather says between 10 to 15knots the whole weekend from SE, air temp max 20 to 22 degrees so looks like flat water
