catsailor.net
Have a look in the local papers for second hand boats that you can buy to rob parts from - buying new mast sails and rigging would be a waste of $. Sorry
Al
How are you going with your restoration?
mick
I recommend you should contact bris cat centre on 07 32714944 as they manufacture the maricats and will be happy to help you in any way
Emmessee
There is no way you will find a second hand rig for a Maricat 4m. You are better off looking for second hand catamarans and re-using their parts on the Mari. Even if you have to cut a 4.3, windrush or even Hobie 14 gear down to size. I think this would be the cheapest option. [This message has been edited by Emmessee (edited 17 March 2004).]
berny
Personally I would be looking for a 4.3. The M4 was/is a an awful boat because the bows are too short and give little resistance to pitchpoling. Berny
shy thunder
I have an old 4.3 selling spares off the boat. The rudder boxes with cross arm and extending alumimium tiller extension are available for $100 the lot, sorry blades have already been sold. Blades are available from catsailor.net but are expensive as they are new!!! maybe some one else can help you. Try Darcy at Mannering Park Sailing Club NSW or Tony @ Port Kembla Sailing Club. Or "god" @ Swan Lake another collector of bits and pieces in nsw. cheers D

berny
tuross, do you actually come from Tuross and do you sail down there? I heard there is a good fleet of Maris sailing from the club. I've also heard there is a fleet at Narooma or maybe Moruya. Bern
