fabrice
My first post! Are there any hobie 20 users out there? Seems to be a fairly rare boat, any reason? Can any give me a brief rundown on the boat, as I am shopping around at the moment. Thanks Heaps, Fabrice Last boat nacra 5.
Emmessee
A nacra sailor going to a hobie. Wow. They are a great boat but no real class here. You would be better with a 5.8 I would say.
GRACELAND1216
Hi Fabrice, Welcome to the Cat Forum. I agree with Emmessee, the Hobie 20 might be a great boat but no class sailing. There are plenty of Nacra 5.8 sailing in N.S.W with 11 boats turning up for the States last month at Trial Bay and an average of 9 5.8's during the Super Series. Check out the Nacra Forum. I prefer class racing to sailing against a yardstick and the Nacra 5.8 is a great boat. If you deceide on a 5.8 look for a boat with a sail # higher than 1550 as they are a bit lighter than the older boats. Regards Graceland. The start of race 1 of the Super Series at Port Hunter.
