Mal is the one to talk to, I'm sure he'd track down a trailer quicker than anyone.

Harald up at Tinaroo has a hobie 16 trailer which I'm sure he'd let you borrow. Once you get the boat here, you could then get Ausco to make you one, they're just down near Whitworths.

I'd expect to pay around the 1.5-2 K for a new trailer.

Did you see the Hobie 16 in Bundy on ebay?

Has Trailer, Rollers, Sailbox . Worth investigation

Mal also has 5 listed on his site,

$12500.00 2007 Hobie 16 on trailer with sailbox and beachwheels (as new)

$9500.00 2004 Hobie Cat 16 on trailer with sailbox and beachwheels

$8000.00 2000 Hobie Cat 16 on trailer with sailbox and beach wheels

$7500.00 1999 Hobie 16 on trailer with sailbox and beach wheels

$7000.00 2000 Hobie 16 on trailer with sailbox and beachwheels

A few options there pete,

The Bundy one looks a bargain, but be careful, Never take anything for granted, check and double check.

The only thing you'll need to ask Mal for is a photo of the bottom of the hulls.

OK pete, Bargains aren't always bargains, just be very careful. As Mal said to me, if you buy a heap of Sh1t, spend thousands on it, you may still have a heap.

Nothing is impossible, check this bloke out in the USA

I hope you have alot of time....

Trust me, if you just want to sail, talk to Mal, he knows more about H16's than anyone else in Queensland.
