How about we all get positive now, the Nats are on,the AGM is coming up, and we have all had a really good discussion on the ifs and buts. lets be friends and chat about the great things. pete [This message has been edited by xmatelot (edited 31 December 2006).]
dryzabone 644
I like how far I got flung when we pitch poled 628 with three on board a coupla years back ... felt like Superman for a little while there. Landed at least 20 metres from the boat. Favourite feeling is the windward hull just off the water in 20-25 knots.
Emmessee
Did that myself on 628 the second time I took her out in 1985. I also had a day with her a year later on Sydney Harbour in a 20kt nor'easter and taking off a big swell and being totally airborne. When we finally came down my trap wire broke and I ended up in the water and the crew had to come back and get me. All good.
xmatelot
me too, but the trap wire stayed connected, and i was whirled around the boat to the other hull, ended up with broken ribs, pete
