Village Idiot Posted March 2, 2007 Report Share Posted March 2, 2007 Blokarts are toys for less money you will build a weapon landyacht the one pictured is the one I built 10 years ago ,A mate I use to sail with built one 12 months later exactly the same ,also using an A Class rig chopped down .,my brother has aquired this one only a week or so ago so once we tidy it up ,it will be on .And my old crew off my first 5.8 built one as a year 12 project ,it too exactly the same ,but I don't think it ever got a rig on it?the platform was finished but the rig? 10 foot long 8 foot wide all aluminium except for the stub axels and front rim rear wheels 8"boat trailer wheels and tyres front wheel and tyre of a pee wee 50 or something total weight rigged About 35-40kg top speed in right conditions 100kph+ mast lenght 23 foot wing mast sail area ? about 8 ft cut off the bottom of a A class sail?
