Hull Flying

Macca was on a Tornado for that little sail.

I sailed on a Nacra 5.8 from one end of the Whitsundays to the other without tacking and would have kept the windward hull out of the water the entire time. Two out on the wire the whole way, cleated the main and just belted across in the most steady wind I have ever experienced.

We basically just sat back and relaxed in about 15 knots of wind that rarely even shifted let along increased or dropped.

I wouldn't mind doing that again.

On my Maricat, I went from near Balmoral to Manly on one hull, probably about 15 minutes. The Maricat needs a nice steady breeze too.
