QB2
Where are the cat fleets based in Brisbane? I found Humpybong's website and I was advised some sailed on Lake Samsonvale, so where else?
xmatelot
hi, Humpybong is as good as any other club. Actually , it is better than many others. It has a wonderful clubhouse, rigging area, launching access to beach, and most importantly, a great bunch of people who will assist you in anything. (May be I am biased, but I am a Life Member of the CCQ). pete
xmatelot
PS. There are many sailing clubs in the Greater Brisbane area, but many of thelakes/dams etc are short of water at the moment. Cleveland has a good turn out, RQ also. I am sure a lot of good references will come . pete
QB2
I paid a short visit a fortnight ago to HB but everyone was racing so I took a copy of the race calendar. I hope to get down this weekend. Mark
xmatelot
hi, I have suspicion that a lot of sailors are heading up to B'Burg this weekend, it may pay to make a few phone calls. pete
CleverNickname
What type of catamaran are you sailing? I live in Brisbane and have joind the Southport yacht club. It's a bit further to drive but well worth it. They mostly have Nacra 5.0 and 16s. Brad

dood
HYC will be sailing on Sunday. There should be some Nacra 16 sq A classes, Arrow, F18, Hobie 16, and a little old fart sailing a Maricat.
Leapin Leroy
Royal Queensland sails on Saturdays, kick-off is usually between 1 & 2.00pm. Good fleet of F18's & H16's usually... Am trying to get more Nacra 16sq's there as i'll be back on a 16sq as soon as the ribs feel right. Regards, Leroy

tar00na
Hullo Just-me, I live at Cleveland. I've been to Cleveland point at low tide and and was wondering how you get boats in and out with out running them aground on all the rocks. Is there a secret?
