phil_taipan117
Check the taipan forum. That has become the defacto QB2/3 discussion area.
QB2
There are apparently a few still sitting under homes and in garages in Victoria. I haven't heard of any in any other states in recent memory. There were a couple on ebay in the last year or so. I don't know whether they eventually sold or not. You might want to chase up sailing clubs at Ballarat, Colac or Melbourne to see if sailors there know of any surviving cats. If you come across any photos email me copies please as I am trying to put together a webpage on the history of the class. Good luck and good hunting and let us know how you go. mitchlb44
I know of a few that are sailable... but not for sale! Last year around this time I spotted one in Kinglake West (VIC) It had both the 2 and 3 rigs but was in dire need of a sand and paint! I'll be back there in a 3 weeks time, I can check if it is still there and if it is for sale!
