Hairbear
You were close Darcy with the Toukley fees actually $6 for 1 up. Here's an extract from the clubs website: Annual membership - Families $45, Seniors $30, Juniors $15, Pensioners $15. Race fees $6 one-up, $10 two-man (includes women) boats, $2 juniors per week. You can pay all your race fees up-front at the beginning of the season for $120, a saving of $60 for solo sailors, and $180 for 2-person crews compared to paying weekly. Paying up-front also includes entry fees to the Xmas Regatta and the Brass Monkeys Regatta, a further saving of about $50. NOTE: this was the 1st increase in fees at Toukley in 7 years. Yep 2 club regatta's & approx 30 race days. Leon
Why does a 2 crewed boat pay more than a single boat. Do you get a silver card from your Yachting ass included in your membership. Gues you may not have a club house to look after maybe.or do you? Amazed I have not seen those type of fees since the 1980s - 90s
slammer
Great Lakes Sailing Club have just increased our annual fees. 2 person boat $200. 1 person boat $150. Fees include NSW National 1 park access. YA membership. There is no race day cost for members. Visitors are asked to conribute $20 for the day. We often cover 3 races in an afternoon. Includes coffee and use of all facilities incuding BBQ etc. We have increased to cost due to our purchase of a container to store equipment. Annual fees will not cover the clubs running costs of waterways licence, rescue boat rego, insurance, club insurance, public liability insurance, fuel costs, utilities and maintenance of fridges- especially the beer fridges.
