clarkie
they can be straightened best way is to place is between two objects and tie a weight on the middle and leave it over night and do it slowly... make sure the weight cant fall to far and over bend it... it will always have a weak spot tho... best off geting another mast as even a slightly bent mast can be a pain as it will tend to lay one way and you will havto push it across when you tack.... Shane
i was outbid on the maricat grrrrr. the seller said the boat and trailer was in good condition... would like to be there when the successful buyer sees a bent, short mast, only half the rigging and a trailor with flat wheels and no lights
Norman Jones
Hi I was looking to buy a 14 or 16 foot catamaran. Maybe a Hobie or a maricat but not real fussy as I am just learning to sail. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Qld - could travel 2-3 hours without an issue. Thanks There is a Calypso 14 on ebay....very tidy and on Sunshine Coast
