Wanted windrush 600

Hi there- trying to track down a wind rush 600. Am down on the surf coast near torquay vic and am after something we can camp on on short trips, snorkel off and can take some small waves and be trailerable- seems like the best option( though I am all ears for other options) had a great prindle 18 which was great and did much camping off- just want to take some more gear and provide some shelter/adventure for kids,

Saw one in cairns- bit far- though good price and a very expensive one also in old. Heard rumors of some sitting around gippi lakes area which would work

Cheers

Chris

Contact details?

Had a quick look on the net, not on for sale page, any chance you could pm me the contact details?

Yes I know they are old boats, but Still functional and fun. Interested in what you said about towing- I assumed a3.7m wide boat could never be trailered without a permit. Sound interesting. Thanks for the info,

Chris

Wide 600 was generally 3.2 or 3.3m and at least in WA a permit from the Dept of Transport can be obtained for low cost which allows day light transport , no escort reqd with a few exclusions, no freeway or peak hour travel in cties.

PS He also knows all about the windrush 600 and 700 so its worth a phone call to find out the infomation

Hi Chris,

You probably have you Windrush 600 by now but I know of one for sale. I raced this one in the recent Lake Eyre Yacht Club regatta. It is road legal on a good trailer has 2 spinakers and is in good order all round. We even beat a Hobie 18 home a couple of times.

Wanted windrush 600

Ya, you cant really go wrong with a corolla, hence theyre common as muck.

Youd pick up a very clean 95, 96 reg one for 3500-4000.

Just get a japanese or german car and you should be safe enuf.

Get autotrader, ring around, youll be rolling on chrome 22s in no time
