Robbieandrew
The Hobie facebook page was advertising a boat show in the US a few months ago saying "Come see the T2, our new boat" so it must be very recent. I doubt there are any In Australia yet...

Matt15
T2 is a Hobie Europe design finally making its way to America and abroad. I thinks its Hobie's way to enter a market 'blackspot' with something cheaper and more competitive/faster???? Not sure it will take off here in Australia thou, we're too spoiled for cat choices here. Robbieandrew
a 16 footer that weighs as much as a f18. Wow, 176kg, that's about 30kg heavier than a H16 and about 35kg heavier than my Calypso 16...

Phoenix
Ahh, T2 as in Tattoo 2, I see. I did like that boat but lamented it was europe only. But yeah, it is pretty heavy, but seeing the abuse that a wave was taking in a Fijian resort, I am a believer in regards to the strength of the poly boats.
