Bridgehugger Posted August 31, 2010 Report Share Posted August 31, 2010 Unfortunately and with regret, the Regatta at Coila this October has been cancelled. This is due to our local council condemning the ammenities building that helped make our inaugual Reggatta last year such a success. This building has been damaged by Termites to such an extent that a major refurb is required. The Council has a public building inspector. Don't ask me what he has been doing. Not his job that's for sure. We at the Batemans Bay sailing club have to apologise to all the sailors who were intending to come. Hopefully the building will be ready for us next year. We appreciate the feedback on the success of last year, and look forward to an even better regatta next year. We hope to see you there. Bridgehugger, for the Batemans Bay Sailing Club at Coila. P.S.
