Leon
LR Sails HumpybashHumpybong Yacht Club is conducting its annual Humpybash Regatta again this September on Saturday and Sunday the 14th and 15th. There will be 6 races over the 2 days and we are expecting a good mixed fleet of small dinghy and catamaran sailors to attend. The International Contender sailors are using the Regatta as part of their South East Queensland Championships in the lead up to the World Championships at Belmont on Lake Macquarie in January 2014.Redcliffe will be a hive of activity on this weekend as there is a power boat event on as well, so if anyone is interested in attending there will be sailing and plenty of other boating to watch. People travelling from afar may prefer to camp in the grounds, with accommodation possibly being a bit tight on the Saturday night. The club will run a Saturday night BBQ, the canteen will be open and there are a plethora of other eating options. The Notice of Race is available here. The Sailing Instructions will be posted here.
