Darvs
Hey all, just got a windrush 14 and loving it. My experience is limited so appreciate a bit of info: my rudders are popping up to horizontal when going over a sandbank (whew) however I am wondering if they can be dropped down without hopping off and doing it manually, all I seem to be able to do is to pull them up with the draw chord but not release back down. Double Edge 2
You should be able to lower them by lifting the rudder arm
darcy1945
The spring tension in the rudder arms holds them down. lift the rudder arms to take the pressure cf the cam roller( sitting on the cam shape top of the rudder) and the rudders drop automatically. Darvs
that is great, so easy, thanks. I noticed they are quite wobbly when down do they have a locking mechanism or do I need to tighten them?
