mitchlb44
Thought about keeping this quiet... but then I thought i would blow my own horn! Over the labor day weekend I raced in the Marlay Point overnight yacht race in Gippsland Vic.... managed to win Division C.... a monohull division, in a castle650! This monohull business must be easy!

John Dowling
Very sad Mitch. Castle 650 is four blokes watching grass grow - especially in the wind you got that weekend. A mate in Melbourne has one and he's flown up to do the Bay to Bay with me on my Seawind 24 the last two years. A 15 knot kite run for two days. He can't wait to sell the Castle. mitchlb44
Tad harsh John! I hadn't picked you as a mono hater! 14.5hrs at an average speed of 1.9kts.... and I loved every minute of it!! If it floats and its got sails, then I like it! stingray580
1.9 knots? sounds like it needs a trade in mate... something that starts with either elliot or young me thinks.
