manderson
Not really the place for this topic I know, but I was wondering if anyone had a timber mono-hull lying around in need of some TLC that they want to get rid of? I would really like to have a go at working on a timber boat also, and I think it would be great to have a mono-hull, as well as my cat (if I get it working properly also). Thanks Mark
NixonJr
I have some old timber cobra hulls! are you after a catamaran hull or some kind of mono hull boat?
manderson
Sorry, I had meant mono-hull. I used the wrong word there. Yeah, I was thinking it might be fun to have a go at a mono hull boat of some sort. Not too picky really, just something I can play with restoring over time and then sailing hopefully. manderson
haha, sounds like I definitely asked a the wrong place! Why the aversion to mono-hulls? Dee, if I wanted an excuse for a trip to Adelaide (unlikely) how much would you be likely to ask for me to take it away for you? Thanks all. The new plans show all the construction techniques used on super-fast PTs like Mojo, Characin and Roar Speed. Expecting the plans to be ready for sale at end of season. Update will probably be posted to: http://aptca.papertigercatamaran.org/
